I feel like more than ever we need live illustrators and graphic recorders. There has never been a time when we have had such awareness around neurodiversity and the possibility for inclusivity for ALL of our clients and teams.
Nevermind that no one wants to sit through a boring slide deck or another ‘all-hands’ call, that shows the announcer on a green screen background, droning on.
Why can’t we enjoy the meetings and feel excited about what we sat through, so much so, that we can’t stop chatting about it with everyone else? I’d rather hear excited conversations rather than grumpy complaints about what a waste of time it was or that it could’ve been an email.
And then there’s the ‘remotes’ who miss out on all the food, swag bags and entertainment. They get a playback or a simple email.
‘Wouldn’t a live illustration that coincides with the recorded talk go perfectly hand-in-hand?

I think so.
(Still send the swag bags as a good gesture).
